This product is a "click and go" program that should run correctly when the computer is configured correctly. If your video card, MIDI, Windows Multimedia Extensions or Sound card is set up according to the manufacturers' instructions, then you will encounter no problems.

ASPECT RATIO:
If the ladies' faces appear fat or elongated, go to the CONFIG screen. SuperModels provides a square box as a guide to adjust the controls of the video monitor until the box appears square.
SuperModels also provides a series of color bars to help you adjust the color control knobs of your video monitor.
SOUND TOO LOW OR TOO HIGH:
Adjust the sound and MIDI volume using the sound board mixer controls. Consult the sound card manual that came with the sound card.
MIDI:
If only the MIDI files that came with your sound board work fine but others do not:
Open the MIDI Mapper in Windows' "Control Panel". From Setups, select the "General MIDI", option.
MOVIES:
The movies on this product are MPEG-encoded data streams that are encapsulated under an AVI header. To change the default settings: go to the Configuration Screen, select VIDEO CONFIG & TEST. Click on/off "Skip frames if behind" and then set as default. Click on the OK button to close the window. If the computer is a Pentium or PowerPC, you might want to change the movie playback window to Full Screen.
MOVIE PLAYBACK SPEED:
The movie playback speed depends on the number of colors and the driver selected. If the movies are not playing smoothly: set your video card to 256 colors or change the driver on the SuperModels' configure screen. To change the driver go to the SuperModels' configure screen and click on "MCI Drivers". A dialog box will appear with a list of all drivers installed on this computer. Move the slider, if necessary, until "MPEG Decompressor for Microsoft AVI" appears. Click on "MPEG Decompressor for Microsoft AVI" and another dialog box will appear. Move the slider to see if your video card chip set is listed. To install the specific MPEG driver for your video card: (1) Click on the appropriate chipset driver, (2) click OFF the "Windows DIB box" and (3) click on "select" to set the new driver. If the results are worse than before, return to the default setting. If your video card chipset is not listed, click on the "Window DIB box" to set the Windows DIB driver (this is the default setting).
AUDIO "SKIPS" WHEN RUNNING MOVIES:
It is possible to allocate more memory to Sound. Go to Windows' Control Panel. Click on {MCI} Sound. Click the SETUP button. Change the default setting of 4 to 9.
VIDEO MONITOR:
If difficulty is encountered displaying at least 256 colors on the video monitor, then configure the Windows video setup in accordance to the instructions or floppy disk that came as part of your video card/video monitor. If you are unable to configure the video card yourself, this hardware/software assistance is best performed by the dealer that sold you the equipment and is familiar with it's idiosyncracies. There are too many equipment manufacturers and therefore too many variables to effectively provide assistance via long-distance telephone.
